Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Sally website at usesally.com, related documentation, and voluntary support or sponsorship payments made in connection with the Sally project. By using the website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Provider

2. What Sally currently is

Sally is currently offered as self-hostable software, documentation, and related project materials. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Sally is not currently offered as a managed hosted SaaS service.

3. Voluntary support payments and sponsorships

The sponsorship pages allow users to make voluntary one-time support payments or recurring sponsorship payments to help fund development of Sally. These payments are support contributions. They do not automatically create a consulting agreement, service-level agreement, shareholder relationship, or entitlement to custom work, feature delivery, or hosted access unless separately agreed in writing.

Where legally required, invoices, taxes, and related billing treatment are handled in accordance with applicable law and the payment processor setup.

4. Orders, payment processing, and third parties

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. When you use a third-party payment provider, your payment is also subject to that provider’s terms, conditions, and privacy practices.

5. Refund policy

Because support payments and sponsorships are intended to fund ongoing software development, they are generally non-refundable. If you believe a payment was made in error, made fraudulently, or was duplicated, contact us at hello@usesally.com and we will review the matter in good faith.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the website or related services. In particular, you must not:

  • attempt unauthorized access to the website, infrastructure, accounts, or related systems
  • interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the website
  • use the website in violation of applicable law or third-party rights
  • scrape, overload, probe, or attack the service in ways that create operational or security risk

7. Intellectual property and license scope

The Sally website, branding, design, documentation, and project materials remain the intellectual property of Kraft Fabrik Media Ltd. and its licensors, except where third-party rights apply.

Use of the Sally software itself is governed by the license terms published with the software repository or distribution. These website Terms do not replace or expand the software license.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or project materials at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and related materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kraft Fabrik Media Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the website or related materials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected to the extent they cannot be waived.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current version.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise. If you are a merchant or business user and applicable law permits it, the courts of Cyprus shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
